An independent consultant in Community Engagement and Cohesion, specialising in Black, Asian Minority Ethnic organisations and general community development. With over eight years of continuous consultancy experience including community development work. Since 2000, I have been involved in various pieces of consultancy work with a particular focus on ethnic minority communities. The consultancy has now grown with a portfolio of work from across the South East, with a specialism towards Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
Previously worked with the Social Enterprise Coalition to develop a strategy for the Office of the Third Sector on BAME engagement of social enterprises. Strengthened links with BAME communities and facilitated their access to other networks, resources and platforms. Championed the Social Enterprise Coalition's role in overseeing and developing a strategy and policy on diversity, making recommendation advising and supporting the Nine Regions of England on the delivery of BAME community engagement.
Organisational Development - Coaching is the ideal technique for change management, skills development and leadership in organisation. We know that every organisation is different and coaching needs to be tailored to the requirements of each organisation. It is now an established part of management and people development in organisations throughout the UK. Quite simply, I help professionals make sense of coaching and understand how it can be used as a powerful tool to help employees perform better.
Over the years, I have developed excellent relationships with associate consultants from various backgrounds and undertaken many joint projects. With an ability to champion a project through public presentations, media and other forms of dissemination. Sensitivity to the perspectives of various interest groups and diversity & equality.
